Think about how people risked their lives to escape this form of government and fled to the USA.
Now, let’s use our brains and think hard about what makes people risk their lives to come here. What has it been about our country that appeals to these people?
What changes might be forthcoming that would make this country less appealing to risk your life for?
Just one more comment. I am not saying those people should have stayed in Cuba at all. I don’t care if they are here or not. I’m examining the forthcoming changes that seem to be forthcoming in the US and how they might compare with Cuba.
I welcome those who have risked their lives for freedom. However, I am not so sure those freedoms will exist here much longer.

I’m sailing my ship around the world and am docked in Sri Lanka for a few weeks. My biggest concern now is whether I want to head Northwest into the Gulf of Aden or Southwest to Madagascar .
